Who we are

Dabar is a product of Emethel Technologies LLC (“we”, “us”). If you have any question about this policy or your information, write to us at privacy@emethel.com.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist, we store:

• Your email address.
• The language you were using on the page (English or Spanish), so we can write to you in that language.
• The date and time you signed up.

We do not ask for your name, phone number, address or payment details on this page.

Like almost every website, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and keep it secure. Your language choice is saved only in your own browser (local storage) and is not sent to us. The page loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address when the fonts load.

How we use it

• To tell you when Dabar opens and invite you to try it.
• To send you occasional news about Dabar. We won't write often.
• To keep the site working and protect it from abuse.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own advertising.

Who helps us

We use a few trusted service providers that process information only on our behalf:

• Supabase stores the waitlist in a secure database.
• Vercel hosts the website.

Your information is stored on servers in the United States. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your email while you remain on the waitlist or on our list of Dabar users. You can leave at any time, and we will delete your email from the waitlist.

Your choices and rights

• Unsubscribe: every email we send will tell you how to stop receiving them. You can also just reply or write to us.
• Access, correct or delete: email privacy@emethel.com and we will respond within 30 days.
• Depending on where you live, such as California or the European Union, you may have additional privacy rights. Contact us and we will honor them.

Security

Information travels to our servers over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and only authorized people at Emethel Technologies can see the waitlist. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.

Children

Dabar is meant for adults running a business. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has signed up, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the date at the top. If the changes are important, we will let you know by email.
