Report infringement

If you believe a site hosted on Dabar uses your copyrighted work without permission, send a written notice to our designated agent with:

1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. A description of the copyrighted work you say is infringed.
3. The exact address (URL) of the material on the Dabar site, so we can find it.
4. Your name, mailing address, phone number and email.
5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for the owner.

Notices that are missing these elements may not be valid. Sending a notice that knowingly misrepresents infringement can make you liable for damages.

What happens next

When we receive a valid notice, we remove or disable access to the material and tell the site's owner, sending them a copy of the notice.

Counter-notice

If your material was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you can send our agent a counter-notice with:

1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. A description of the material that was removed and where it appeared before.
3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
4. Your name, address and phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if you are outside the United States, any judicial district in which Emethel may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice.

We will forward the counter-notice to the person who sent the original notice. Unless they tell us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action, we may restore the material 10 to 14 business days after we receive the counter-notice.

Repeat infringers

We close, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe others' copyrights.
